MonkeyFX is proud to present a range of ultra-high quality cables. These surpass pretty much anything you can buy in the shops - Klotz La Grange and Sommer Spirit are the very best low-capacitance cable money can buy, and the Neutrik jacks are incredibly tough and super-stylish. Prices are all worked out on request, but as examples, a 5m (15ft) Klotz cable with one right angle jack and one normal straight jack would be £12.50 excluding P&P, and a 10cm (4 inch) patch cable with two right-angle plugs would be £7. These offer total signal clarity and great longevity, and are what the monkeys insist on in their own rigs. Please click

Full-sized straight jack: Perfection, thy name is Neutrik. An incredibly tough shell. An end cap that screws into place and will not come off by accident. A strain-relief system that works like a drill chuck, so it won't ever cut the sheath on the cable. This is pretty much the perfect straight jack plug, and from the day we started making cables we have yet to see any other manufacturer make anything that competes. Sure, you don't get a bazillion gimmicks, but these are cables and the Neutrik is a paragon of beautilitarianism.
Silent jack: A marvel of technowhatsitery, the silent jack instantly stops any unplugging or plugging-in noise. Amazing. This is achieved through clever jiggery-pokery, in particular springs, magnets and reed switches, meaning that there is absolutely no effect on the guitar signal when plugged in, but total silence - no clicks, no pops, no buzz - when changing guitars or leaving it unplugged.
Slimline jack: If space is at a premium this is a lovely plug. Same high quality as the full-sized one, same chuck-based strain relief, but just a slightly slimmer body in case you're really packing things in. Note that the full-sized jack works with any of our routers and switches.
Right-angle jack: Yes, another Neutrik. They just keep doing things properly - like a monkey would. Same chuck-based strain relief, same screw-on end cap, same high quality. The back of the plug is plastic, but it's a high-impact ABS and we have never seen one break. Ever. Ever.
Klotz La Grange: We don't really buy into cable hype, but a chum suggested we try the La Grange. It's not a cheap cable, but it's certainly not a loony-expensive one. It's great to work with, sounds perfectly clear (no treble loss) and coils up very neatly time and time again - no tangling whatsoever. Our recommendation for long cables - typically anything over 1m, and definitely the best choice for guitar-to-amp cabling.
Sommer Spirit: Sounds just as good as the La Grange and costs the same, but slightly trickier to work with because of the twin shields. It's very flexible, making it perfect for patch leads, but not so good as the La Grange on longer cables as it is easier to tangle.
Speaker Cable: Actually, we don't know who makes it. We just bought a metre of each of the speaker cables that our suppliers stocked - apart from any that were obviously made from snake-oil, or were too expensive, and then chose this on the basis that it has great gobs of copper and a sensibly-thick sheath, with no shielding. Shielded speaker cables actually result in worse noise performance, so avoid them!
